Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Executive Director of Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII) has been appointed as a member of the Executive Committee (ExCom) of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). He was appointed to the ExCom on 22 December 2022 by the AIT Board of Trustees. ExCom plays a key role in overseeing AIT\'s operations. 

Professor Worsak earned his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley, and served AIT from 1979 until 2018, when he retired as its President. Additionally, he holds the title of Emeritus Professor at AIT. He was inducted into the AIT Hall of Fame in 2019 and the Chulalongkorn Engineers Hall of Fame in 2022. 

Professor Worsak is also a Founding Council Member and Chairman of the Academic Committee of Vidhya Sirimedhi Institute of Technology (VISTEC). In addition, he serves on the University Councils of King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU).

He returned from retirement in 2019 to become the founding Executive Director of the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII). 2023 will see the first graduating class of ScII, the newest school at Chulalongkorn University.
