Professor Agachai Sumalee, of the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII), has been named editor of the special issue of the journal \"Sustainability,\" which will focus on \"Big Data Analytics in Sustainable Transport Planning and Management.\" Sustainability is an international, open-access journal that provides a forum for sustainability and sustainable development research findings. It is indexed by Scopus and the Web of Science, and has an impact factor of 3.889 and a CiteScore of 5.0.

\"Sustainable development in transportation has been a major concern for decades,\" said Professor Agachai. He added that the special issue of the journal \"Sustainability\" will cover a range of topics related to big data analytics in sustainable transport planning and management, including travel behavior analysis, traffic condition and management strategy development, intelligent transportation system development, traffic safety analysis, transport and land use policy analysis, and agent-based simulation modeling.

Professor Agachai will be joined by Professors Kenetsu Uchida of the Faculty of Engineering at Hokkaido University and Dong Ngoduy of the Institute of Transport Studies at Monash University as the special issue editors.
